Max London's Restaurant - Your Destination for New American Cuisine in Saratoga Springs

I met a friend here for dinner last week and had a great experience. The restaurant itself was warm and inviting (great on a chilly, snowy night). This was my 2nd time here and the 1st time having food; I had drinks at the bar several years ago. Our waiter was very pleasant and added to our visit. I asked him for assistance choosing between 2 entrees and I ended up selecting the fried fish. He made sure our drinks were refilled and checked on us just the right amount. My friend opted to try the chickpea polenta fries and offered me one. They were even better than I thought they would be and I loved the date ketchup, while she preferred the aioli. She also ordered the pizza, which she said was good, but a little heavy on the sauce. The fried fish I chose was battered and crispy, just the way I like it. It came with fries which were also cooked perfectly. However, the seasoning that was great on the fish was less so on the fries. If there was a way to get them without it next time that would be amazing (ooh, and that ketchup would be delicious instead!). I thought it was a really good portion for the price. As amazing as the food was, the star for me was truly dessert. We both ordered the Butterscotch Budino. And, even though I was getting full, I finished it all. The flavors were absolutely delicious - light, sweet but not too sweet - and I would absolutely come back here just to order desserts and share them. Overall, this was a really terrific experience. My only hesitation in coming back would be the price points. There were many great sounding options that were more expensive thus reducing the number of choices based upon how much I wanted to spend. Definitely a place to check out if you haven't been. I would love to at least come back for appetizers and dessert.

My wife and I ate there on a recent visit to Saratoga. The food was really good with some unique things on the menu - I had the smoked chicken hash. The server, James, was extremely personable. He knew the menu inside and out and was able to answer all our questions about it. On top of that he was extremely attentive - our water glasses were always filled, my coffee mug was never empty, and my wife (who knows a good cup of coffee) said it was the best latte that she ever had and that "he made a perfect foam-to-milk ratio". Thanks for a great time, Max London's as well as James - we will be back!

Went for Saratoga Restaurant Week and enjoyed the food. The Red Wine Braised Beef Short Rib is a must! My girlfriend had the Miso Glazed Faroe Island Salmon and she loved it. We will be back again to try more of the menu and cocktails.

I ordered the tomato bisque (best I’ve ever had!) and the wedge salad to go. The staff was friendly and very quick! My order was ready in about 7 minutes!

Really good food! Definitely more upscale and pricier. Not sure I’d go back on my own but definitely would if a friend asked.

Everything was amazing here for a brunch. My husband and I walked in no problem on a Saturday around 1130. The food was all really good and fairly priced ! Staff was really friendly too. The French onion soup has a very odd smell, but it's DELICIOUS

There are so many restaurants up and down the street. This one doesn't necessarily have the best "curb appeal" to draw you in, but the reviews were good and the menu looked great. We are very glad we gave it a shot! Brick chicken and salmon were delicious. Good appetizers and good beer selection. Nice atmosphere and good service.
